A 20,000 sq ft park is coming up on the premises of the Central Police Quarters near the High Court.

The park includes an open-air stage with a green room and a children’s play area. About 1000 chairs can be accommodated on the 8,500 sq ft lush green area landscaped using Mexican and buffalo grass.

The project is coming up under the supervision of the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA)

The Cochin Flower show is happening at Marine drive cochin. The show is driving in huge crowds. The entry fee is Rs 25.

The show has on display 6,000 flowering plants from Bangalore, and 10,000 ornamental plants, 1,000 plants and 500 bonsai plants from the state. About 500 medicinal plants are also on display.

Timing: 9am to 9pm

Built in the 19th century by the Raja of Kochi, this palace served as the seat of the Raja of the Kochi province. It is now a museum displaying the wealth and splendor of the Rajas of Kochi, including the throne and the crown. The museum also houses a large collection of archaeological findings.
